first i want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEVIANTART
well, i first started my deviantart account 3 years ago (June 30, 2011). i decided to join because i wanted a place to post my artwork! i'm very glad i joined deviantart because i was able to discover new artists that really inspired me.
i'm gonna show you some of my very old works from when i first starting drawing. the drawings i'm posting are i feel the main points of where my drawing skills were at. (these are just SOME examples!!)
2009
this is so ugly, disgusting, and embarrassing LOL but this one of my first MS paint drawings.
2010
my skills got a little better and i started using paint tool SAI, but i'd still use MS paint every once and a while.
2011
the year my homie got my into drawing cartoons. here's one of my first.
2012
my cartoon skills are developing!!
2013
not much to say.
2014 (present)
i just wanna say, everybody starts somewhere! if you think you're bad right now, just know that your skills will improve! i mean, just look at that first drawing ew
anyway, once again happy birthday deviantart!

i want to include my homie in this journal because she actually inspired me to start drawing cartoons and make new OC's. like, she is the start of my deviantart basically lol. without her, my style would be totally different and also i don't think i'd be as good as i am now. DeviantArt Broken for me?
i just want to see if this is a problem for anyone else, or if i have to contact DA to fix it.
so i went to go change my Featured Deviation widget to my newest drawing "Ariel" and i noticed that the selection screen that shows all of your deviations wasn't popping up. i thought this would go away in a little, so i decided to ignore it and browse DA. i found some artists that i like, and i decided the watch them. i click on the watch button, but the box that shows up when you watch someone wasn't popping up as well. i figured this was an error for me.
the boxes that are supposed to show up weren't showing up all together and i want to know i

so i haven't been posting much art lately because i've been so busy with schoolwork and such.

Yay! I'm so happy you feel that way about your drawing skills, cause you're really amazing o: Especially compared to 5 years ago. I saw some of my old drawings too and was like "what even is this lol". So I guess I can relate. Good job Carinuh!!! :3 I'd love to see how your style and art progresses in the near future.
